Low Cost Sheet Metal Brake |

This brake was originally
designed in 1967 when Shop Supply House started business. It
was designed for use in the industrial arts school shops in
high schools for the students to make projects. It also
found it's way into industry, with the manual trades
and the do-it-yourselfers.
It will bend 24' of 16 gauge cold rolled sheet steel.
Reverse bends to 12 degrees. As it is delivered it is a
straight bending brake. You can cut fingers in the top bar
with a hack saw to make it a finger brake or make fingers
from hardwood. The bar or fingers are clamped from the rear
with c-clamps (not supplied). There are holes to oil the
bronze bearings. The brakes weights 31 lbs. with a shipping
weight of 36 lbs. |
